Fergie for Kipling

Pop princess Stacy Ferguson, better known as Fergie (from the group “Black Eyed Peas,” the erstwhile pop group “Wild Orchid,” and the the show “Kid’s Incorporated”) has teamed up with Belgian brand Kipling for round 2 of her line of specially-designed handbags.

Though no stranger to designing (she has designed collections for BlendShe, a brand of clothing and accessories,) her first collaboration with Kipling last year, was her maiden venture into the world of handbag-design (joining the ranks of celebrities – like Beyonce Knowles, Gwen Stefani, Jennifer Lopez to name a few- who have made names for themselves in the field.) Her first collection was divided into 3 sub-collections, each with its own distinct style representing the many facets of Fergie’s personality. The Nice Scout, features bags and satchels in earth-tones; The Naughty Scout, features edgier bags with rock n’roll inspired prints and heavy on the hardware detail; and Fergie’s personal favorite The Dutchess, a collection of evening and weekend bags made from more luxurious fabrics with leather accents.

The second installment of Fergie for Kipling, released as part of Kipling’s Spring 2008 collection, will feature satchels, totes, and duffles in bright neon-hues, bold prints, and vivid patent leathers. Christened “Show-off” and Rocker-Chic” respectively, the 2-part collection continues to express Fergie’s subversive sense of style.

Le Vian specializes in Chocolate Diamonds. Obviously these are not meant for eating — it’s all about the color of these expensive babies — a very distinct brown/beige.

Kate Moss’s new collection, a collaboration with clothing chain Topshop for their Topshop High Summer 2008 collection, was launched recently. The bohemian-traveler inspired collection (Kate Moss has traveled extensively to India, Mexico, and Ibiza) consisting of summer frocks, blouses, shorts, ethnic print and silk embroidered pieces, are now available for sale at Topshop.com.

This collaboration with the famous supermodel has added even more appeal to the trendy fashion brand. The High Summer collection recently went on sale in Topshop’s flagship London store, with very successful results. Popular favorites were her dresses, must-haves this summer season, and instant hits that sold out almost immediately.

I love all the dresses, they’re so frilly and romantic. Very girlygirl. My two favorites though are the white eyelet sundress, and the star sequin cocktail dress (details below)

Multicolor Nike Dunk Highs

I’m not that big of a sneakerperson but these Multicolor Nike Dunk Highs somewhat work for me as they’ve got the olympic colors and lalalala guess what… right!

Anyway, sneakers will be available online as soon as the Olympics get on the way — and I’m assuming these are limited edition ones, so don’t wait too long if you want a pair…

We’ve already had an article on here about how to get beautiful curly hair, today, we’ve found a great article on how to get straight sleek hair. Aesthetic Technologies is a makeup blog with an excellent reputation amongst fashionistas and I love their simple straight-hair technique!

I’ve got mild natural curls so I’m so giving this a try over the weekend. I’ll report back with my final judgement!

Big news from the Jessica Simpson Intimates front as there’s now been released that her lingerie line will not be launched this year but has been postponed until later in 2009. That’s not just bad news for all of those interested in Jessica’s lingerie ideas, but also for Jessica who’s always looking for a quick buck.

Guess her music will have to feed the kids for now!
