These sulfur color removers work by shrinking the expanded haircolor molecules inside the hair. YOU have to physically remove the pigments with many vigorous shampoos and even then when you put the next color on, there could still be some lingering pigments that will re-oxidize and impact the newly desired shade.
They can be useful, but they are not a miracle.
